Cyber Summer ProgramsCyberSTEM I Program OverviewSummary Participants engage in hands-on activities and learn about the broad field of cybersecurity. They learn to apply basic security concepts through gaming, modeling and simulation development, robotics, digital forensics, cryptography, system vulnerability and cyberethics, safety and security exercises, while investigating exciting careers that interconnect the fields of science, math, technology, engineering and computer security. Students tour local labs and hear guest speakers from state, local and federal agencies and professionals. No experience necessary. Field Trips and Speakers: Includes speakers discussing and sharing cutting edge technology and the requirements for careers in the cybersecurity domain. Media CyberSTEM II Program OverviewSummary Participants engage in hands-on activities and learn about the broad field of cybersecurity. Attendees will learn and apply basic concepts of programming, computer forensics, cryptography, robotics, steganography, system vulnerabilities and program management from a series of gaming, modeling, simulation activities and hands-on exercises, which explore the interconnections of science, math, technology, and computers. Participants did NOT need to attend our CyberSTEM I camp to be eligible. This camp covers similar content areas as CyberSTEM I camp, but allows for a deeper and more in-depth exploration of the subject matter.In addition, our CyberSTEM II camps are usually done in partnership with our higher education institutions. Faculty expertise in specific areas (networking, web development, app development) are often folded into the program.
