Professional Development for EducatorsThe National CyberWatch Center K12 Division offers CyberSecurity related professional development opportunities for educators and administrators in collaboration with its member institutions. The wide variety of available courses, workshops, seminars, conferences, and materials target both the general educator wanting to fold in cybersecurity awareness techniques and best practices, and the advanced instructor planning to expand cybersecurity related skills and activities into their computer science or networking curriculum, or prepare students for one of several cyber defense competitions. The CyberWatch K12 Division works with member CyberWatch higher education faculty and government/industry partners in developing all content and training. All professional development follows the research best practices and use Kirkpatrick’s Model for Follow up Assessment (Level III). Check the calendar for upcoming events.
