Dr. Pruitt-Mentle, Director of the CyberWatch K12 Division, is excited to offer such a program to teachers. “This Maryland cohort serves as the pilot for the roll-out of our National effort to reach hundreds of educators across the US who are eager to offer a cybersecurity program of study in their school or state, or simply include cybersecurity content in their technology related courses. Unfortunately, just like we lack cybersecurity professionals, we also lack educators trained to teach cybersecurity content. Through the support of the National Science Foundation, and access to advanced online professional development and virtual lab access, the National CyberWatch Center is able to help fill this training gap to meet the needs of our educators and students.” Meet our National CyberWatch Cybersecurity Educator Academy Participants:
